A delicious crunchy salad with a sweet and sour taste that can be garnished with a few raisins or walnut kernels.

⚜️ A special visit to the kitchen Espagnole..!!! 

✔️Summer means rest, sun, travel, and... refreshing salads! One of my must-haves on hot days is this crisp, fresh, 100% summery salad.

✔️Coleslaw is a classic of British and American tables. If the base is the same - cabbage and a vinaigrette or mayonnaise - its variations make it an amazing salad.

  🚩Ingredients :

  ✔️150 g White cabbage
  ✔️150 g Red cabbage
  ✔️1 Carrot
  ✔️1 apple granny smith 
  ✔️1 Red apple
  ✔️½ tsp Pepper
  ✔️½ tsp Salt 
  ✔️2 tablespoon sugar
  ✔️ 50 g of crushed pecans 
  ✔️1 bunch of white grapes 
  ✔️1 small bunch of red grapes 
  ✔️ The juice of 1 Lemon
  ✔️3 tablespoon Mayonnaise
  ✔️3 tablespoon plain yogurt 


1. Wash the cabbages and slice them. Peel and slice the carrot.

2.  Wash, dry, core, and slice the apples. Sprinkle them with lemon juice.

3. Mix the cabbage, carrot, crushed pecans, dry raisins, sugar, and apples in a salad bowl.

4. Whip the yogurt with mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. 

     Pour the vinaigrette over the salad and mix gently.

5.  keep 1 hour in a cool place before serving.

6.  plate the apple coleslaw in a salad bowl. Serve chilled.

Suggestion :

Not very sweet but very acidic and juicy, the granny-smith apple is ideal in salads to achieve a sweet-salty marriage. This apple with its very white flesh and tender green skin bring a necessary acidic note to this recipe. If you own a juicer, don't hesitate to extract the juice from one or two apples and add it to the sauce.
